Steps to Join 

Thank you for your interest in Lightsong Outdoor School.  Here is how we will proceed together.

 

Step One:  Let’s have a conversation.* Please give me, Elle McCloskey, a call at 541-337-6441.  It is important that we all have a clear understanding and agreement about how we will be in community together.

 

Step Two:   For new children, please fill out the child portrait form, and email it to lightsongoutdoorschool@gmail.com. Then schedule to meet in person and you can see the school space.  2015 SE Stone St, Corvallis.  This is our opportunity for you to see the space, ask questions that have arisen for you and we can ensure that Lightsong is a good fit for your child.

 

Step Three:  Once we have all decided that Lightsong is a good fit for your family. It is time to secure your child’s space in the class for the fall.   Please send your non-refundable family contribution for supplies of $250.

 

There are two separate contributions:  

1. Supply contribution- $250 (non-refundable and must be received to secure your space at Lightsong)

2. Family Tuition Contribution* $6,000-$12,000 for the school year. (pro-rated rates if you enter mid-year)  100% of your family contribution goes toward Lightsong and the life and work of the teachers.  Thank you!

 

Family Contributions can be made:

• In full, based on your family’s agreed upon amount, due the first week of September.

• In two installments, half in September, half in February.

• 10 monthly installments due by the 5th of each month., September 2024-June 2025.

*If the lowest suggested amount still feels like too much of an obstacle, but you feel like having your child attending Lightsong is essential to your child’s growth, please contact me anyway and we will work to find other solutions.*
